About WVN Living

Formerly WVN Home Textiles in the budding stages of our journey WVN Living  reflects our growth and our way of addressing the needs of the times. WVN Living is rooted in Filipino living traditions, such as weaving, and hopes to sustain them by integrating into our daily life and embracing it as part of our lifestyle.

We work with several artisan communities in the Philippines. Our main partner communities are located in La Union, Cavite, Isabela and Albay. From working solely with handloom weavers, we have now started working with abaca crafters.

We don't have a physical store (yet!) but we have partner retailers that do.

Products/Services

Most of our handwoven products use cotton and polyester blends (65% cotton, 35% polyester). The strength of the blend ensures that the product will withstand the tests of time and still keep its cottony soft feel. Other textiles that we also use in some of our products: 100% Philippine cotton handwoven products, terry cloth fabrics and linen fabrics.

In our efforts to support abaca, which is a local material endemic to the Philippines, we are slowly integrating abaca products into our product mix.

There may be some items that may appear stiff when freshly woven, however, after washing the fabric, it will start to soften. Most handwoven items can be washed using a washing machine, but washing in cold water and gentle cycle is preferred. They may also be machine dried, but please ensure that settings are on tumble dry low to avoid shrinkage. When possible, if you can hand wash and hang dry, that would be the most ideal way of cleaning your handwoven fabrics.
